Why the name MIRABILIS?

Lat. 46 deg. 3'      Long. 74deg. 32'

Retired since 1998, Rémi enjoys astronomy but particularly CCD imaging. Lise also likes astronomy and draws the sun spots as she sees them at the telescope

Located in the Mont-Tremblant area, 120 km (75 miles) north of Montreal, Canada, in the Laurentians. The observatory is on a mountain top at an altitude of 450 meters (1500 ft). The sky is fairly dark and the view is just superb with great sunsets.
